The National Examinations Council (also known as NECO) is an examination body in Nigeria that conducts the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) in April, Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) in June/July and the General Certificate in Education (GCE) in December/January. NECO Result 2023 Release Date
National Examinations Council, Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) exam was supposed to be held on 27th April to 12th May 2023. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, the exam has been postponed indefinitely.

You can check your National Examinations Council result from the official NECO result checking portal 2023. Only this official portal offers you to check your NECO results with certain pieces of information. For more convenience in checking neco result 2023, the detailed procedure is given below-

Students in their senior year of Secondary School will appear in this exam. NECO Result Statistics

According to NECO acting registrar, Abubakar Gana while announcing the release of the results at the council headquarters in Minna, Niger State, hee said 71 per cent of the candidates obtained five credits including English and mathematics.
He said 829,787 candidates, representing 71.5 per cent, made five credits and above, including in English and Mathematics.
Mr Gana said 40,630 representing 3.53 per cent of the candidates were involved in various forms of malpractice as against 20,181 cases recorded in 2023, representing an increase of over 50 per cent.
He said the rise in the number of malpractice cases in 2023 was not unconnected with the deployment of the new biometric verification device used in the 2023 SSCE.
